Downtown Winston Salem Engagement Session

I was overjoyed when this amazing couple came to me to ask me to be their wedding photographer. We have known Tim for many years and he has become a close family friend. We were super excited to find out that he had found Beckie, and that they were getting married!

The story about how they became a couple is so great and a testament to perseverance. So, they met each other through a dating app and went on a date. Tim then started to send Beckie the occasional text, about once or twice a week just letting her know that he was thinking of her and hoping she was having a good day. Sweet, right?! She left him on “read” for about six months but then decided to give this dude another chance. Because, why not? He was not giving up and was super kind and sweet to her. And Tim is grateful that she did!

From that point forward they have been inseparable. They chose the downtown area for their Winston Salem engagement session because it holds a special place in their dating story. Their first date was at Fiddlin’ Fish and Tim proposed at the top of the parking deck beside where we took these first images. We finished up their session at Earl’s where they shared a pint and the outdoor space was perfect with the glow from the setting sun. This place was so cutely decorated and always a great place to listen to live music and enjoy some good food!
