i'm So glad you're here!
I would like to share who I am and why I absolutely LOVE what I do! I’m a homeschooling mom and an artist. Most days you can find me in yoga pants with coffee in hand! I love capturing personality and love in the images I create.
The thing I love most about photography is: the people. There is nothing better than getting to know my clients and capturing them through the art of photography. I have a fine arts background that has blossomed to include digital photography and now I have a passion for creating memorable images for my clients!
My husband, Dan, is my better half!
We met in 2007 on Bald Head Island and immediately hit it off! We were married in 2010 and life with him gets better and better every day! He got me into golf, and now I can't get enough!! It has been something that we have always done together and how we spend most date "nights"!
When my husband and I got married we each had 2 kids. So we immediately became a family of 6! We then had two girls together making us a family of 8! Three boys and three girls, with a 20 year age spread and I wouldn't change it for anything.
These amazing gifts from God have blessed Dan and my lives in ways it never could have been with out them.
I love a great cup of hot coffee in the morning..
and the afternoon!
I also enjoy an iced chi tea latte with coconut milk if I'm out and about and can stop by a Starbucks!
I saw these mugs at Target and had to get them for Dan and I! We can usually drink 2 pots of coffee a day. haha :)
I love to bake when I'm happy, sad, excited, upset, well pretty much all the time!!!
One of my favorite times of year is Christmas and our annual Christmas cookie baking party is a highlight! We invite out friends, everyone brings 2-3 of their favorite Christmas cookie doughs and we spend the night baking, drinking wine and listening to Christmas music!
We are foodies!
Most of our vacations revolve around where we will eat and what wines we will bring or try. Dan and I are huge red fans, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cab. Franc are our favs! Our visit to the Napa Valley in CA was one of our most favorite adventures together.
My philosophy is simple. I take beautiful photos of real moments.
I capture the stories and the memories that will be cherished forever.
The ones that will be shared with future generations and treasured as family keepsakes.
