Downtown Greensboro Engagement Session

When I say this downtown Greensboro engagement session was a dream….I totally mean it!! When we started out it was a bit cold as a result of being tucked behind tall buildings. But by looking at their gallery, one wouldn’t be able to tell with these two! Katie and Josh met, as a lot of couples do, through technology. After dating for almost two years, he proposed.

As most of you know, I am a sucker for engagement stories so, when I asked this sweet bride-to-be indulged me and told me all about how Josh proposed! They spent a lot of their relationship living in separate towns, separated by a lengthy drive. Therefore, when they were able to see each other, it was always super special as a result of their distance. When Josh would come visit her in Pinehurst, they would take long walks around a lake near Katie’s home and one day, they stopped on a dock and he asked her. Katie’s immediate response was “YES” and Josh was elated! Katie said that it was super sweet and romantic. The best kind of proposal, right!?

We get to kick off this years wedding season with their wedding in Kernersville North Carolina! So naturally, we chose downtown Greensboro for their engagement session because it offered a variety of backdrops for their session. We were able to use multiple parks, city streets and a small historic section. It is always amazing to see the variety of images couples receive from these sessions.

Their Upcoming Wedding Day

All of our wedding couples receive and engagement session as part of their wedding package. It’s a great opportunity for us to get to know each other, I can teach them all they need to know for their wedding day and they get a great online gallery to use in their save-the-dates and wedding day guest book!

We just love working with these two, Katie and Josh are an amazingly laid back and fun couple! This session was a dream and Dan and I can not wait for their big day!
