An Asheville wedding in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

This Asheville wedding day started out as many do. The bride and her tribe getting their hair and makeup done, mother of the bride making sure all the details are set, groom and his guys playing corn hole. Ok, maybe not all wedding days start out with corn hole, but this one did!

Cliff and Lauren chose a venue that is nestled in the heart of Asheville North Carolina. It provided a beautiful getting ready spot for the ladies downtown, called Engaged. Once ready, we drove out to the venue only about ten minutes away.

Cliff and Lauren met in college and have been together ever since. Even when Cliff decided to spend a year in Alaska, Lauren was overjoyed to be a part of the adventure. They are an active couple that enjoy the outdoors. I am sure that their future is going to be full of adventures to come. They chose to honeymoon in the Virgin Islands!

It was in an antiquated barn converted to a ceremony space and the recently added on reception space, adjacent to it, was beautiful. The day was hot but had a pleasant breeze that was definitely a blessing! The ceremony was so special. The officiant they chose was amazing, the grooms mom and sister sang a song that just about made me cry it was so beautiful.

Their cocktail hour was on a patio fully equipped with vintage couches and chairs, a fire pit and bar. Their reception was so much fun. The DJ they chose kept the party going way into the night and everyone had a blast dancing.
