Southern Rustic Farm Wedding Venue | Triad, North Carolina
Ok y’all, Dewberry Farm is one of my local happy places! Horses, beautiful flowers and owners that will make you feel like family. This 20 acre farm is nestled in the hills of Kernersville off of a small gravel road. What once was a family owned 100 acre farm used primarily for tobacco and sugarcane now boasts a beautiful and serene wedding venue.
I’m in love with how gorgeous this farm is and how the owners make me feel like a friend!
Meet the owners!
I would like to introduce you to the owners of this great venue. The privately owned farm is run by Art and Wendi Johnson, pictured below, a sweet couple that turned their love of each other and their community into a venue that has everything from romantic water features to horses!
Art and Wendi were the first couple of many to get married on this property. They quickly became recognized in our community as a great team to have on a wedding day.
So, let’s take a tour! First, you will pull onto the quaint dirt drive and are welcomed by some friendly horses and amazing fields full of flowers. Tulips in the spring and sunflowers in the fall, for instance.
Art and Wendi live in the farm house but, in true southern hospitality, it can be rented out for events! The grounds surrounding the farm house have many treasures nestled around it. So, your guests will be able to spread out and enjoy the scenery while toasting the newly married couple.

I love this rustic barn with a touch of classy southern charm behind the farm house as well as a covered deck for plated dinners and dancing.

Here are some bridal portraits that I did at Dewberry Farms recently! It’s gorgeous right?! I love using it for wedding portraits, because we can get a lot of variety in your gallery out of one location.
My two littlest girls and I had a chance to grab some tulip pictures this spring and I’m in love! I believe that this farm has so much potential as an amazing backdrop for your next celebration or photo shoot!
