Fourth of July Park | The Stokes Family
This shoot started off like any other. I found a great spot in the heart of Kernersville, NC and met the Stokes family there. Then things got wild! This little bundle of adorable energy owned this shoot!
As most toddlers, he was more interested in leaves, rocks and rolling around in the grass, than he was in getting his picture taken! His parents, Emily and Brian, were amazing! They played with him throughout the entire shoot and it was priceless. His personality showed through in every image I captured. He reminded me so much of my 18 year old son at that age, it was so nostalgic for me.
This image below sums up the level of energy this sweet 20 month old carried throughout the day! I love capturing these candid moments where the personalities of all the participants show in their gallery.
It was an opportunity to capture family portraits for mom and dad, but to Graham it was a fun day at the park. The absolute joy he brought to this shoot was immeasurable. We played hide and seek, watched the train and had a spirited game of leaf throwing! This sweet family walked away feeling uneasy about how it went. Mainly because we weren’t able to get many posed shots, which is what they were expecting. The thing to remember is no matter how busy our little ones are, it’s always a good idea to have portraits made. Their gallery is full of fun images that will be cherished by the Stokes family for years.
