Lavender Farm Wedding | Chapel Hill, NC

So, what do you get when you have an amazingly fun couple, the most gorgeous venue and wearable flower art? The perfect wedding! And this one was absolutely PERFECT!! We have known Caroline and Todd for a few years and when they asked us to be a part of their day, we were elated. Their wedding was at the beautiful Lavender Oaks Farm in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The moment I stepped out of my car I was greeted with the most amazing smells of fresh lavender coming from all around. It was almost magical!

Caroline and Todd are the most warm, friendly and genuine couple one could ever meet. Everyone at their wedding would also agree that those close to them, are family. 180 of their closest friends and family gathered on a beautiful and mild June day to celebrate the love that these two share. The ceremony was full of tears and lots of laughter. It was evident that theirs was love at first site when they both recalled their first date in their vows. Caroline swore that she would marry Todd the moment he stepped from his car with flowers to pick her up for their first date. She confessed that she was spying on him through the blinds. Todd says that his moment came just a few days later, after they had shared a Sunday together and an exciting outdoor adventure.

When we spoke about what was most important to them on their wedding day, they were quick to respond with “lots of pictures of everyone having fun.” The party got started shortly after their first kiss as husband and wife and ended with Caroline leading karaoke and street tacos! The couple even had arranged for busses to safely get their guest from the Lavender Farm Wedding back to the hotel.
