An Intimate Estate Wedding | High Point, NC

The day started with warm sunshine and hugs from the bride. The previous weeks were full of dreary rain and cold temperatures, so when we woke up to warm sun and a 76° high forecast, we were ecstatic! This was the most perfect way to start our 2021 wedding season. This intimate estate wedding in uptown High Point couldn’t have been more perfect.
Their love and connection to each other and their families made this day special in so many ways. They met in 2020 and instantly felt a connection. Both Jeanine and Joel have children from previous marriages but you wouldn’t have guessed it! Their families fit together like they have known each other their entire lives. This wedding was more than just bringing a husband and wife together. It was a blending of two tribes into one large loving family.
When Jeanine asked if my husband and I could photograph their wedding, we were both honored and elated. I have volunteered with Jeanine at our church for many years, watched her raise her daughter, Jenna, into the amazing woman she is and hold her in my heart as a great friend. Being a part of the love and documenting their wedding day was truly a blessing for Dan and I.
I hope that you enjoy scrolling through their day. It was fun to photograph and my hope is that you can feel the love and joy that was shared throughout the day. I can’t think of a better way to kick off this years wedding season.
