Botanical Garden Maternity Session | Kori, Bruce & Baby Georgia
I was so thrilled to get a message from this sweet mom-to-be! I had photographed her nephew at Dewberry Farm this past spring and she loved his sweet pictures. He was a lot of fun to photograph, but enough about sweet Kamden! This garden maternity session was absolutely perfect!
We were a tad nervous because it had down poured about 15 minutes before we were to start, but the sun came out and it was gorgeous!! This garden is in the Kernersville area and is beautiful. Kori is about 8 months pregnant here and just as glowing as any mom-to-be could be. Her and Bruce are expecting their first baby mid-September and she is going to be as beautiful as her momma!
This is the first part of her two part session. Kori opted to invest in the Belly to Baby package I offer; maternity and newborn bundle. When we were discussing locations, she wanted flowers, gardens and natural areas. I couldn’t think of a better place than this garden for her maternity session.
I am really excited for these two and to meet sweet baby Georgia when she makes her grand appearance in a few weeks!

For more information about the garden we used for this session, check out their website here. The garden offers space for weddings and events as well as the garden space that is open for the public to enjoy! There is also a gorgeous botanical garden in Greensboro, you can find information on that here.
Lighting can make or break your maternity photos, so schedule your pregnancy photoshoot at an optimal time of day. Photographers love shooting at what they call the “golden hour”—shortly after sunrise or just before sunset—to capture those soft golden hues.
